Pearson Professional Learning is dedicated to enhancing teacher practice, supporting student achievement, and providing comprehensive, innovative classroom tools, courses, and resources that can positively impact school improvement and leadership plans at the district and classroom level.
Our goal is to provide effective and on-going implementation services that are designed to support sustainable change and enhance teaching expertise in Canadian classrooms.
Consulting:
Our team of Professional Learning Consultants and National Implementation Manager offer collaborative consulting to school districts and provinces coast to coast.
Networks:
To support implementation of our professional resources, Pearson facilitates a variety of networks across the country including face to face meetings, webinars, and a national professional learning wiki. These networks provide a venue for educators to collaborate and share practice as well as access opportunities for professional development and ongoing implementation support.
Resources:
Pearson also provides resources that support specific needs and contexts. This includes alignment documents to provincial curriculum and initiatives, French translations of student materials, and data collection tools. All of these resources are available on the national professional learning wiki.
